Safe Practices

Heart and Sole Yoga follows the CDC safe practice policies regarding Covid-19. This policy may be changed and updated as more information comes available or CDC Safe Opening policies are changed.

  1. Yoga classes will be limited to 7 students. Nia classes will be limited to 5 students. Students will be required to wear a mask inside the studio and during practice.
  2. Special mats for Nia will be supplied by the studio and sanitized after use. Yoga students are asked to bring their own mats, blocks, and props. Mats will be placed in designated spots adhering to social distancing guidelines.
  3. Students will be signed in and if necessary will be notified if there is a possible exposure risk associated with the studio. We ask that all students provide a current e-mail, phone number, or home address.
  4. Students will be required to answer the Covid-19 Visitor Health Screening Assessment Check List before entering the studio.
  5. Students will be required to sign a Release and Waiver of Liability.
  6. The studio is cleaned daily and surfaces are wiped down between classes
  7. Hand sanitizer is provided.



Please help stop the spread of the corona virus and other germs by following these simple tips:

    • Wear a face mask when you are indoors near other people and when you are outside and unable to physical distance six feet apart.
    • Wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds; dry hands with a clean towel or air dry hands.

    • Use alcohol-based hand sanitizer (with at least 70% alcohol content) when soap and water are unavailable.
    • Cover your mouth with a tissue or upper sleeve when sneezing or coughing; throw the tissue away and then wash or sanitize your hands.
    • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth.
    • Stay home when you are sick.
    • Avoid contact with people who are sick.
    • Maintain a minimum 6 feet of distance between individuals in public spaces
    • Clean and disinfect “high-touch” surfaces often (i.e. door handles, counters, phones, toilets) with antibacterial spray or wipes
    • Use good health habits (get enough sleep, eat foods that support your body, drink plenty of water, stay active)
    • If you are not feeling well, contact your healthcare provider or local authority before seeking in-office or ER treatment
